Over 300 Blankets Donated!
The dental office of Christine J. Coke, DDS, MD, PA held a blanket drive from September 1 – December 1, 2010. Dr. Coke asked her patients to help by donating a new blanket to keep children warm while going through cancer treatment. There was an amazing response, and they collected over 300 blankets! These were taken to Children’s Medical Center for children in the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders to use during their chemotherapy. There were so many blankets donated that each child got to choose the blanket of their choice and take it home with them!
A very special thank you to Dr. Christine Coke, her office staff and patients for brightening the day of a childhood cancer patient with such a great gift!
